Supplementation depends on the type of nutrition that will be offered to the individual and from their individual needs, such as micronutrient deficiency or inability to achieve macro scare through food. In enteral and parenteral, in turn, protein, lipid and carbohydrate modules can be offered, as well as immunomodulatory supplements that aid in the recovery of the sick patient.
