Ayurveda says that everything in the universe consists of five basic elements. And they are Prithvi (Earth), Agni (fire), Jala (water), Vayu (air), and Akasha (atmosphere). Our body, as well as the food we consume, consists of these elements. If any of these elements come out of normality, then it leads to imbalance, so that recipes from the ayurveda can be interesting.
Therefore, it is important to maintain the balance of these elements to balance our universe as well as our body. It is said that the stomach is divided into three parts in the name of food intake. The first part must be filled with solid (Prithvi), the second must be filled with water (Jala Mahabootha), and the third part should be left free (Akasha); this helps digestion.
Diet plays an important role in preventing diseases and maintaining normal body physiology. Ayurveda explains that the preparation and use of different beverages can act simultaneously as nutrition and medicine. The recipes are based on Indian cuisine, well known for the different spices, with a variety of ingredients and simple cooking methods.
