What is it?

Physical exercise is the set of physical activities done in a coordinated, programmed and sequential way, involves technical movements and usually has the objective of improving the health and performance of its practitioner.

What is exercise for?

Physical exercise has multiple functions, including muscle strengthening, aiding in the slimming process by increasing energy expenditure, has effects on mental health and promotes well-being through the release of hormones such as endorphin (pleasure hormone). Another benefit is the prevention of chronic diseases, as this reduces the chances of developing obesity, infarction and diabetes, among other diseases, in addition to strengthening the immune system.

How does exercise work?

Physical exercise has several natures and is a component of sports such as bodybuilding, gymnastics, athletics, soccer, swimming and others. Therefore, execution should be done constantly and incorporated as a habit, in the search for a healthier lifestyle.

When do you need to supplement?

It is of paramount importance that this practice is aligned with healthy eating habits to thus produce a positive impact on health, reducing the risk of diseases promoting longevity. In this sense, supplementation can be used in specific cases based on individual needs.
